Kroger now selling Carfagna's Pasta Sauce
« on: July 25, 2011, 01:16:52 PM »
I love making my own spaghetti sauce, I hate most canned/jarred sauces. But I love Carfagna's pasta sauce.  I have driven to Carfagnas (great Italian Deli) in Columbus just to get this sauce. Now it is available at Krogers. I cost a little more, but the jar is a full quart so you get a little more. I know sauces are highly subjective, but IMHO its the best jarred sauce, bar none.

WOW!!!  Love Carfagna's!!!!!
Mtvguy, have you been to their restaurant on Polaris?  It is called Cafagna's Kitchen.  Love going there when we are in the Columbus area.  The food is great and the portions are LARGE!!!!

:1cheer: I was at kroger when they had a huge sample day and they had some of this out. I tried their vodka sauce and it was WONDERFUL! I made it a point to mention to customer service that I enjoyed it soooooo much! Im really glad they are carrying the line now!

I have not worked in Columbus for years, but when I did.  You would get a free bag of pasta when you bought the sauce?  Is it still the same?

Whole Foods sells it too.

Yes Speedy, Carfagna's Kitchen is great, I love a great tomato sauce any they have it. My blood is 90% pasta sauce. And their deli on 161 is a most go.

And yes sloppyjo, they still give the free bag of pasta!

Loved shopping at Carfagna's.  they had wonderful meats and lots of interesting ethic food selections.  Miss that portion of being in Columbus.  But Rt. 161 has changed a lot since we left and move here.  :(

I love Carfagnas's Italian hot and sweet sausages; they are without a doubt the best in the state....

and all the imported Italian cheeses and that imported canned tuna...

such an amazing difference in the quality in the flavors....
