Unless I missed it, it doesn't tell the date.

Well, this thing was a total BUST!  I didn't see any 'craft sale' part - only the 'yard sale'.  Attendance was light, and everyone seemed to be looking for a 50-cent bargain.  One lady even commented (while looking at a necklace) that she wasn't there to spend that kind of money (20-bucks...)

I was even offering a drawing for a free portrait session & 8x10 and couldn't even hardly talk anyone into FREE.  My assistant worked so hard at trying to entice someone to buy something, but it was just a 'no-go' all around.  The only sale we made all day was to Muffin, and I think that was just because she took pity on me.

I guess I won't be doing this event again...

I did have a cute young man flirting with me and mugging for my camera.  He was just a little too young for me, though...   :hysterical:

Perhaps you're focusing your marketing on the wrong type of people or it's a little too broad?

Maybe you could do a demographic study of non-friends/family who have purchased your products in the past couple of months and focus on marketing to those types of people....

I think Knox County certainly has a demand for fine art, but I suspect you'll need to look for people with some expendable income.

Just my suggestions....
Sometimes MVOhio feels like a group therapy session being held in the middle of a 3-ring circus.

I really wanted to get to this event but there was too much
going on with caregiving for family members.  And, it was
the first nice-weather Saturday that we have had in many
days and outside work needed attention.

Will try for next year !
