Disgusting! Ben Carson Refers to Slaves as Immigrants
Ben Carson’s first full week as secretary of Housing and Urban Development
got off to a rough start on Monday after he described African slaves as “immigrants”
during his first speech to hundreds of assembled department employees.
The remark, which came as part of a 40-minute address on the theme
of America as “a land of dreams and opportunity,” was met with swift outrage online.https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/06/us/politics/ben-carson-refers-to-slaves-as-immigrants-in-first-remarks-to-hud-staff.html

This can't be real. Slaves were not & are not immigrants.

Whoopi Goldberg, the NAACP and a multitude of others expressed their outrage in similar terms.
Huffington Post's Jason Linkins said Carson's remark "makes one wonder how far the Trump administration will go to revise the history of the black experience in America."
Selective outrage can be hilarious!"Life in America was not always easy," he said.
"It wasn't always easy for new immigrants. Certainly it wasn't easy
for those of African heritage who had not come here voluntarily
and yet in their own way were immigrants themselves.
There was discrimination and hardship and poverty. But, like you,
they no doubt found inspiration in all those who had come before them.
And they were able to muster faith that, here in America, they might build
a better life and give their children something more." - Barrack Obama (Dec. 15th, 2015Conclusion - Two Black men say the exact same thing.
One was a Black democrat president and one is a Black republican
HUD secretary. Obviously, the Black republican is a racist!
