Mark A. Whittaker, 34, of
Cardington, was sentenced on one count of Illegal Processing of Drug Documents,
a felony of the fourth degree. In April 2012, Whittaker forged a prescription
for Percocet on a blank prescription note that was stolen from a doctor’s
office and passed on to Kroger Pharmacy on Coshocton Avenue. He was sentenced
to a definite term of 17 months in prison with a six month license suspension.
Whittaker was also ordered to pay court costs. This case was investigated by
Det. Lt. Craig Feeney of the Knox County Sheriff's Office.
Michael A. Wood, 41, of Fredericktown, was sentenced on two counts of Burglary,
second degree felonies, and one count of Breaking and Entering, a fifth degree
felony.Wood was ordered to pay restitution
to ten victims totaling $10, 928.17 in both Knox and Morrow Counties. He was
sentenced to five years in prison on each Burglary count and 11 months in
prison for the Breaking and Entering, all to be served concurrently. Wood was
also ordered to pay court costs and will be subject to three years of
post-release control after prison. This case was also investigated by Det. Lt.
