Knox County's Big Craft Sale Returns Dec. 6

November 25, 2015 - 12:00 AM

GAMBIER, Ohio — Artists and artisans will sell everything from paintings to cookies at the 47th Annual Gambier Craft Sale on Sunday, Dec. 6, on the Kenyon College campus.

About 90 exhibitors will set up in the Kenyon Athletic Center, 221 Duff St., from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to share handmade arts and crafts.

Dog toys, jewelry, doll accessories, photos, wreaths, wood carvings and glass art are among the array of items available.

Visitors can take home food items such as peanut brittle, apple cakes, breads and fudge, and they can order from the lunch menu including coney dogs and sloppy joes provided by the service sorority Psi Iota Xi.

“The space is incredibly beautiful. I hear from everybody that it’s such a great event that you don’t want to miss it, said Mistie Wray of Mount Vernon. She is co-coordinator of the event with Joyce Klein of Gambier.

Each visitor will receive a free raffle ticket upon free entry to the event, and prizes from various vendors will be awarded during the day. Ample free parking is available.
