MOUNT VERNON - A plea of guilty hearing is scheduled for Richard Callihan tomorrow at 10 AM in the courtroom of Judge Otho Eyster.

Callihan, 49, is charged with robbery, a second-degree felony, and theft from an elderly person, a first-degree misdemeanor. According to a March indictment, Callihan is accused of stealing $370.95 from the Shell Gas station on Harcourt Rd.

According to a news release sent out by the Knox County Sheriff's Office in February, deputies responded to a robbery shortly after 10 PM on February 7. Witnesses provided a description of a vehicle that was possibly involved. About 20 minutes later, Mount Vernon Police stopped the vehicle and arrested Callihan.

Callihan is currently being held in the Knox County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
