Arrests/Citations

Justin Stachler, 30, of Danville, was arrested. he is charged with obstructing official business, resisting arrest, and domestic violence.


Joshua Davis 35, of Centerburg, was cited for assured clear distance ahead.


Rodney Schlingerman, 62, of Howard, was cited for a traffic signal violation.



Accidents

A 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche, operated by Joshua W. Davis Sr., of Centerburg, and a 2008 Dodge Caravan, operated by Diana Faught, of Centerburg, were both traveling northbound on Columbus Rd. Faught's vehicle came to a stop for a red light and was struck in the rear by Davis' vehicle.


A 2009 Honda Odyssey, operated by Rodney E. Schlingerman, of Howard, was traveling westbound on Coshocton Ave. A 2008 Ford Truck, operated by William K. Wyman, of Mount Vernon, was traveling northbound from Verndale Dr. to the Kroger entrance. Schlingerman's vehicle ran the red light and struck Wyman's vehicle.



Reports

A Mount Vernon couple requested that an officer speak with them about a business that had done work for them.


An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of N. Sandusky St. on a vehicle that had a four hour wait. The vehicle was towed to the city impound lot.


A resident of the 100 block of N. Gay St. reported a Samsung Galaxy Note, black in color, stolen.


An officer met with a woman on E. Pleasant St in reference to a lost Ohio Directions Card.
