Senator Brown meets with Knox County Convention and Visitors Bureau Project Manager

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) met with Patrick
Crow of Mt. Vernon, Project Manager of the Knox County Convention and
Visitors Bureau. Crow met with Brown during his weekly coffee with
constituents while vising Washington, D.C.
“It was an honor to meet with Patrick,” said Brown. “His dedication to growing Ohio’s communities will bring new investments to our towns and attract visitors.”
Crow is working on the preservation of the Woodward Opera House in
Mt. Vernon. The project is financed in part using the New Markets Tax
Credit (NMTC), which helps revitalize Ohio communities. Brown helped
secure a five-year extension of the NMTC in the year-end tax bill in
December so Ohio communities can continue use the credit to invest in
