Mount Vernon Police Department Reports and Incidents 10/29

October 30, 2015 – 6:06 pm


On October 29 at 6:02 pm a crash occurred on N. Gay St. at the intersection with E. High St. Two vehicles were travelling side by side north bound on N. Gay St. After crossing the intersection, the vehicle in the right land made an improper lane change, striking the second vehicle travelling in the left lane.  James R. Bower of Wapakoneta was cited in the crash for driving in marked/continuous lines.  Officer Aaron Collins was the reporting officer.


On October 29 at 3:15 am officers responded to an alarm on the 500 block of S. Main St.  Officers made contact with employees at the business.  The exterior of the building checked out and clear.  Officers were unable to make contact with a keyholder.  Officer Aaron Collins was the reporting officer.

On October 29 at 8:10 am officers responded to a theft on the 800 block of Coshocton Ave. Fuel was stolen.  Officer Justin Trowbridge was the reporting officer.

On October 29 at 7:48 pm officers responded to a report of an unsecured building on the 100 block of S. Main St. Officer Nicholas Holdren was the reporting officer.
