Arrests

On October 25 Cassey Young of Danville was charged with possessing drug abuse instruments.

On October 26 at 9:00 am officers responded to an incident of domestic violence and assault on the 400 block of N. West St. Richard Cantu of Mount Vernon was charged with domestic violence and assault in the incident.  Officer Nicholas Myrda was the reporting officer.

Citations

On October 26 at 4:54 pm an accident occurred on Harcourt Rd. close to the intersection with New Delaware Rd. Two vehicles were traveling north on Harcourt Rd., one behind the other.  When the first slowed and stopped for traffic, the second rear-ended the first. Norma Durtschi-Phillips of Centerburg was cited in the crash for failing to assure clear distance ahead.  Officer Michael Wheeler was the reporting officer.

Incidents

On October 26 at 10:10 am officers responded to an incident of breaking and entering on the 100 block of Sunset St.  A copper pipe and furnace were stolen. Officer Justin Trowbridge was the reporting officer.

On October 26 at 9:05 am officers responded to a vehicle impound on the 100 block of E. High St. Officer Zachary Uhler was the reporting officer.
