Mount Vernon Police Department Reports and Incidents 10/19

On October 19 at 2:29 pm Kevin Curtis of Mount Vernon was arrested on charges of domestic violence.

On October 19 Jesse Sisson of Glouster was arrested on an outstanding warrant.  Sisson was also cited for driving under suspension.


On October 19 at 4:06 pm an accident occurred on E. Gambier St. at South McKenzie St. A vehicle traveling eastbound on E. Gambier St.  was turning left onto S. McKenzie St. and was struck by a second vehicle traveling westbound on E. Gambier. The impact caused the first car to strike a third vehicle stopped facing south on S. McKenzie.  Jonathan Snyder of Mount Vernon was cited in the crash for right of way when turning left.  Officer Zachary Uhler was the reporting officer.

On October 19 Saralee Mills of Howard was cited for one way streets.


On October 19 at 2:58 pm officers responded to a found property report on the 100 block of E. Hamtramck St. A toddler’s pink Huffy bicycle frame was found.  Officers placed the frame in the City Impound Lot. Officer Justin Trowbridge was the reporting officer.

On October 19 at 7:04 pm officers responded to menacing on the 200 block of Liberty St.  The complaint was related to juveniles in a park.  Officer Andrew Burns was the reporting officer.

On October 19 at 7:29 pm officers responded to found property on the 900 block of W. High St.  Silverware and troughs for cement work were found.  Officer Zachary Uhler was the reporting officer.
