MOUNT VERNON - At a video bond hearing today in Mount Vernon Municipal Court, bail for Travis Bonham was set at $1 million with no 10% provision.
Bonham is charged with two counts murder with gun specifications, tampering with evidence, grand theft of a firearm, and having a firearm under disability.
Bonham is accused of murdering his mother, Sandra Stelk, age 50, and girlfriend, Jamie Barber, age 23 on or about September 29 at his mother's Coshocton Rd. home. He confessed to the murders, saying he was high on bath salts.
Witnesses reportedly saw Bonham with the weapon, which he is prohibiting from having due to a previous felony domestic violence conviction.
