Arrests

On October 6 at 3:58 am Jessica Joslin of Howard was arrested on a warrant out of the Knox County Court of Common Pleas.  Joslin was transported to the Knox County Jail.  Deputy Ryan Burgess was the reporting officer.

Incidents

On October 5 deputies responded to a report of fraud on the first block of Stump St. in Mount Vernon. The complainant reported that her Social Security Administration number had been used by an unknown person on September 23.  She was advised of a payment made to her by the Ohio Department of Taxation which she had never received.  A report is to be written to provide documentation.  Deputy Scott Baker was the reporting officer.

On October 5 deputies responded to a report of a theft on the 17800 block of Old Mansfield Rd. in Fredericktown. Five gallon cans full of gas were stolen from a utility shed.  Deputy Kenneth Aurand was the reporting officer.

On October 5 at 9:15 pm deputies responded to an incident of criminal trespassing.  The complainant reported that several unknown juveniles were found trespassing on his land. The juveniles were not located.  Deputy Jeremy Carpenter was the reporting officer.
