Knox County Sheriff’s Office Reports and Incidents 10/3 - 10/4

October 5, 2015 – 9:50 pm

Arrests

On October 3 at 9:03 am Chase J. Nichols of Centerburg was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Richland County.  Nichols was transported to the Richland County line.  Deputy Terry Wolfe was the reporting officer.

On October 3 at 4:13 pm Misty L. Zolman of Howard was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of the Ashland Municipal Court.  Zolman was transported to the Knox County Jail as the Loudonville Police Department did not have any units available.  Deputy Tim Knell was the reporting officer.

On October 3 at 8:27 pm John Christine of Danville was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of the Mount Vernon Municipal Court.  Christine was transported to the Knox County Jail.  Deputy Tim Knell was the reporting officer.

On October 4 at 10:45 am deputies responded to a call from a woman driving on Wooster Rd.  The woman reported that her ex-boyfriend was trying to run her off the roadway.  Officers responded and stopped the man, Joseph Pilotti of Fredericktown, who was arrested for menacing.  Deputy Jason Wilson was the reporting officer.

Incidents

On October 2 at 2:15 pm, deputies responded to a theft from vehicle on the 13000 block of Old Mansfield Rd. in Mount Vernon.  A wallet was stolen from an unlocked car.  Deputy Brandon Minot was the reporting officer.

On October 3 at 8 am deputies responded to a theft from vehicle on the 17900 block of Old Mansfield Rd. in Mount Vernon.  A wallet, license and check book were stolen overnight from an unlocked vehicle.  Deputy Jason Wilson was the reporting officer.

On October 4 at 6 am deputies responded to a complaint of several thefts from several vehicles on the 14900 block of Indian Hills Rd. in Mount Vernon.  Deputy Jason Wilson was the reporting officer.

On October 4 at 5:40 pm deputies responded to a call from a complainant who advised that his credit card number had been used in New Jersey by an unknown person.  A report was filed for documentation purposes.  Deputy Jeremy Carpenter was the reporting officer.
