JOHNSTOWN - This afternoon, at approximately 2:54pm Mount Vernon Police Department
officer D. McElroy spotted a vehicle southbound on S. Main St. He noticed that a male
passenger in the vehicle appeared to have numerous tattoos. As they passed, the male pulled
up the hood on his sweatshirt and attempted to avoid him. Officer McElroy continued to follow
the vehicle south on St. Rt. 661 until additional officers could respond to the area.
The vehicle was eventually stopped on St. Rt. 62 in Licking County with the assistance of
Licking County and Knox County Deputies. Bonham was arrested without incident. The driver of
the vehicle Ashli Price of Mount Vernon was also arrested. Her driver’s license is currently
suspended and she may be facing additional charges.
Just prior to the traffic stop and arrest Adult Parole Authority Officer William Baer had
established phone contact with Bonham and had been attempting to arrange for his surrender.

agencies that have been assisting in locating Bonham. The Mount Vernon Police Department,
Newark Police Department, Licking County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office,
Columbus Police Department, Utica Police Department, Johnstown Police Department, State of
Ohio Adult Parole Authority, and the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force.
