From Knox County Sheriff David Shaffer

October 4, 2015- 6:05 PM

                     (Bonham)                                 (Price)

JOHNSTOWN - This afternoon, at approximately 2:54pm Mount Vernon Police Department officer D. McElroy spotted a vehicle southbound on S. Main St. He noticed that a male passenger in the vehicle appeared to have numerous tattoos. As they passed, the male pulled up the hood on his sweatshirt and attempted to avoid him. Officer McElroy continued to follow the vehicle south on St. Rt. 661 until additional officers could respond to the area.

The vehicle was eventually stopped on St. Rt. 62 in Licking County with the assistance of Licking County and Knox County Deputies. Bonham was arrested without incident. The driver of the vehicle Ashli Price of Mount Vernon was also arrested. Her driver’s license is currently suspended and she may be facing additional charges.

Just prior to the traffic stop and arrest Adult Parole Authority Officer William Baer had established phone contact with Bonham and had been attempting to arrange for his surrender. The Knox County Sheriff’s Office would like to express their gratitude to some of the many agencies that have been assisting in locating Bonham. The Mount Vernon Police Department, Newark Police Department, Licking County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Columbus Police Department, Utica Police Department, Johnstown Police Department, State of Ohio Adult Parole Authority, and the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force.
