Danville Public Library Presents The Danville Variety Show This Saturday

The Danville Public Library is celebrating their fiftieth Golden Anniversary with a fun evening of entertainment this Saturday, October 3, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, at St. Luke’s Community Center located at 7 West Rambo St. in Danville.
The event is free and open to the public of all ages. Door prizes and giveaways will be awarded throughout the evening and refreshments will be provided.
“Ed Sullivan” Dayne Baughman will serve as host for the evening as the Danville Public Library looks back at its history beginning in 1965 to the present.
Performances will include Darell Sanson’s Safire Sun, Ken Barnett as “Red Skelton,” Mike and Chris Petee and Desmond Wall singing as “Peter, Paul & Mary”, Sisters Rose Sebouhian and Betty Carpenter, the Kokosing River Surf Club, Allie Dible, William E. Bennett as “Elvis”, Heidi Heiks, Sharon Jenings, Angelica, and Danville Local Historian David Greer.
Funding and donations for the celebration have been provided through local and community supporters and donations, the Friends of the Library and the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County.
