Arrests

On September 23 at 5:50 pm Shane Cody was arrested on charges of an outstanding warrant through Knox County.  Cody was transported to the Knox County Jail.  Officer Aaron Collins was the reporting officer.

Citations

On September 23 at 10:10 pm an accident occurred at the intersection of N. Sandusky and W. Curtis Streets.  A vehicle was traveling north bound on N. Sandusky and was hit by a vehicle attempting to turn left from W. Curtis onto N. Sandusky heading south bound. James A. Booth, 22 of Mount Vernon, was cited in the crash for operation at a stop sign.   Officer Aaron Collins was the reporting officer.

Incidents

On September 23 at 10:07 am officers responded to a theft of a car on the 900 block of W. High St.  A Honda Civic was stolen.  Officer Brian Weiser was the reporting officer.

 On September 23 at 3:24 pm officers responded to a theft from a vehicle on the first block of Fairway Dr.  An army rucksack, two duffle bags full of uniforms, boots, a keviar vest, helmet and gloves were stolen.  Officer Aaron Collins was the reporting officer.

On September 23 at 4:00 pm officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct on the first block of Elliott St.  Officer Michael Wheeler was the reporting officer.

On September 23 at 6:55pm officers responded to a report of found property on the 1000 block of Howard St.  An Iphone in a camouflage case was found.  The phone was placed in evidence as found property.  Officer Andrew Burns was the reporting officer.

On September 23 at 8:00 pm officers responded to a domestic disagreement on the 700 block of W. Chestnut.  An issue regarding custody was reported for documentation purposes.  Officer Michael Wheeler was the reporting officer.
