Sunday's Events at the Oldtime Farming Festival in Centerburg

The community and surrounding areas are invited to come out to the final day of the Oldtime Farming Festival today to celebrate agricultural heritage at the Community Memorial Park- just north of Centerburg at the intersection of St Rt 314 and US Rts 3/36.


Today's schedule is as follows:

At 9 am, Community Worship Service is held at the Festival Stage, and the Dave Keys Memorial Draft Horse Pull will be held at the Tractor Area.

At 10 am, Marina Myers plays the piano at the Festival Stage, and the Craft Show, Food Vendors, History Center and Old-fashioned Demos open.

At 11:30 am, Chestnut Ridge Band performs at the Festival Stage, Games and sign-ups for contests begin at Contests & Games, Face Painting begins and goes until 5 pm at the Kids Corner, Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull sign ups at the Riverbend Stage, Magician Rex Nalor performs at the Kids Corner until 5 pm, and the Horse-drawn Hayrides begin and go until 5:00 at the Tractor Area. 

At 12:30 pm, see the Square Dancing Tractors at the Tractor Area, Euchre Tournament for adults (18 & up) is held at the Contests & Games, and the Bubble Gum Bubble-blowing Blowout is held at Contests & Games as well. 

At 1 pm, Sawmill Ridge is held on the Festival Stage, the Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pulls begins at the Riverbend Stage- blacktop, and the Three-legged Races for all ages begins at Contests & Games. 

At 1:30 pm, the Tractor Demos and Antique Equipment begin at the Tractor Area, and the Men's Wrench Throwing Contest is held at Contests & Games.

At 2 pm, the gospel vocal group, McManaway Family Quartet, performs at the Festival Stage and the Cake Walk for all ages begins at Contests & Games. 

At 2:30 pm, the Tootsie Roll-in-the-Hay candy hunt begins at Kids Corner and the Ciphering Match grade 1 - adult (math) is held at Contests & Games. 

At 3 pm, the Tractors line-up for Tractor Parade begins at the Tractor Area. 

At 3:30 pm, the Parade of Tractors through the Park starts (all stages closed), Cornhole Tournament begins at Contests & Games, and the Husband-calling Contest is held at Contests & Games. 

At 4 pm, the Arm Wrestling Contest is held at Contests & Games.

At 5 pm, the Festival Awards Ceremony is held at the Festival Stage.

At 5:30 pm, the festival closes
