Knox County Sheriff’s Office Reports and Incidents 9/14 – 9/15

Incidents

On September 14 at 6:03 pm officers responded to vandalism on the 9100 block of Green Valley Rd. in Mount Vernon.  The complainant was driving her vehicle in the area of the incident and the rear passenger window was struck by an object, causing it to crack. Deputy Kenneth Aurand was the reporting officer.

On September 15 at 9:13 am a vehicle theft was reported. The vehicle was stolen from the first block of S. West St. in Martinsburg.  The victim reported that the car keys may have been left on the porch overnight when the car was stolen. Later that day, around 1:25 pm the vehicle was located on the 12600 block of Rock Run Rd, sitting partially on the roadway.  Some damage was found on the front bumper.  The vehicle was towed to the residence of the owner.  Deputy Michael Rutherford was the reporting officer.

On September 15 at 12:48 pm officers responded to a theft from a vehicle on the first block of N. Edgewood Rd. in Mount Vernon.  A Thinkpad computer was stolen from a vehicle.  Officer Timothy Light was the reporting officer.

On September 15 at 2:00 pm officers responded to a theft from an unlocked vehicle on the 15300 block of Millersburg Rd. in Danville.  Money and a check from a wallet were stolen. The wallet was found outside the vehicle.  Deputy Daniel Selby was the reporting officer.
