Fredericktown Police Asking for Information After Overnight Break-In

FREDERICKTOWN - The Fredericktown Police Department is asking for help in identifying the person or persons who broke into a storage shed last night.

During the overnight hours, persons forced entry into a shed on Mt. Vernon Avenue and removed numerous items.

This afternoon, the police department's officers recovered numerous items along the Kokosing Gap Trail. The items which were recovered include the following: chainsaws, weed eaters and battery operated tools.

A resident on Mt. Vernon Ave has identified the recovered items. Entry was also gained into his shed and numerous items were removed.

According to a post made to the Department's Facebook page, several residents have reported that they heard individuals on the bike path late last night. No reports were made about the persons on the bike path during the night.
