Storytime Registration Open at Public Library

Registration for Fall Storytime is now open at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, 201 N. Mulberry Street.


Sessions begin the week of September 20 and run through November.

Baby Storyland for babies up to 24 months and their caregivers will be held on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. Baby Storyland activities include short books, songs, action rhymes and play time at the end so parents can visit with each other.

The Two and Early Threes program will be held on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. Preschoolers and Kindergarteners will meet on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. and on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. Family Storytime will be held once a month on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. on September 24, October 15 and November 19.

Storytime children and their parents will enjoy a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and a craft each week. All programs are free.
