Knox County Sheriff's Office Reports and Incidents 8/28- 8/30

On August 28 at 1:57 pm, Nicole Mitchell was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Ontario's Mayors Court. Mitchell was turned over to the Ontario Police Department. Officer Jason Wilson was the reporting officer. 


On August 29 at 7 pm, deputies responded to a report of a breaking and entering/burglary on Nunda Rd in Howard. A cash box is missing from a desk drawer. Officer David Devolld was the reporting officer.  

On August 29 at 2:40 am, deputies responded to a complaint about vandalism on Bishop Rd. in Centerburg. A mailbox was set on fire. Officer Wayne Noggle was the reporting officer. 

On August 29 at 5:30 pm, deputies responded to a report of theft on Struble Cir. in Fredericktown. A chainsaw was stolen from the bed of a truck during the night. Officer Tim Knell was the reporting officer. 

On August 29 at 8 pm, deputies responded to a report of theft on Grandview Dr. in Mount Vernon. A huffy bicycle was stolen from a backyard. Officer Terry Wolfe was the reporting officer. 

On August 30 at 8 pm, deputies responded to a report of burglary on Ireland Rd in Howard. A tool box with tools valued at $200.00 was taken from a barn sometime between 8/24 - 8/30 when the victim was on vacation. Officer Travis Thomas was the reporting officer.
