Mount Vernon Police Department Reports and Incidents 8/28 - 8/30

August 31, 2015 - 6:12 pm


Arrests:

On August 28 Victoria Zickefoose, 47 of Mount Vernon was arrested for house arrest violation and a warrant on N. Sandusky St.


Citations:

On August 28 Christopher Willis, of Mount Vernon, was cited for "exhaust system required/obey traffic control devices" on N. Park St/ E. Chestnut.

On August 29 Kendra Harris, of Mount Vernon, was cited for "driving under an FRA suspension" on Shirley Ave.

On August 29 Stenia McQueen, of Mount Vernon, was cited for "driving or physical control while under the influence", "lighted lights/distance/heights", "overtake/pass to right", and "driving/physical control under the influence within 20 years of a prior offense" on Mansfield Ave.

On August 29 Karalyn Rhodeback, of Mount Vernon, was cited for "ACDA- Assured Clear Distance Ahead" on S. Main St.

On August 29 Colton Moore, of Parma Heights, was cited for "one way streets" on N. Mulberry St.

On August 29 Amanda Strouse, of Mount Vernon, was cited for "expired or unlawful license plates/fictitious plates" on Wooster Rd.


Accidents:

On August 28 at 2:09 pm, there was an accident at the intersection of N. Gay St and E. Chestnut St. A vehicle was parked in a no parking "yellow curb" area when a second vehicle struck the driver's side during left hand turn. Officer David McElroy was the reporting officer. 

On August 28 at 2:45 pm, there was an accident on E. Pleasant St. A vehicle was traveling eastbound when a second vehicle sideswiped the vehicle and left the scene. Officer Justin Trowbridge was the reporting officer. 

On August 28 at 4:44 pm, there was an accident in the Mount Vernon High School parking lot. Damage was down to the rear bumper on the passenger side. Officer Zachary Uhler was the reporting officer.  


Incidents:

On August 28 at 10:30 am officers responded to the report of a theft on the 700 block of N. Sandusky St. Officer Mathew Haver was the reporting officer. 

On August 28 at 11:46 am officers responded to a report of assault on the 900 block of W. Vine St. Officer Justin Trowbridge was the reporting officer. 

On August 28 at 4:58 pm officers responded to a civil matter on the 100 block of MicGibney Rd. Officer Nicholas Holdren was the reporting officer.

On August 28 officers responded to the report of a theft on the 800 block of Coshocton Ave. Officer Jason Payne was the reporting officer. 

On August 29 officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct on N. Gay St. Officer Michael Wheeler was the reporting officer. 

On August 29 officers responded to a traffic complaint on Marion St. Officer Zachary Uhler was the reporting officer. 

On August 30 officers responded to a report of suspicious activity on the 100 block of E. Ohio Ave. Officer Nicholas Myrda was the reporting officer. 

On August 30 at 4:41 pm officers responded to a report of theft on the 200 block of E. Burgess St. Officer Nicholas Holdren was the reporting officer. 

On August 30 at 6:37 pm officers responded to a report of vandalism on the 1000 block of Coshocton Ave. Officer Nicholas Holdren was the reporting officer. 

On August 30 officers responded to a report of a disturbance on the 200 block of W. Gambier St. Officer Michael Wheeler was the reporting officer.
