Mount Vernon Police Department Reports and Incidents 8/27

Incidents

On August 27 at 8:31 am officers responded to a theft from a motor vehicle on the first block of Wooster Ave.  Tanning lotion, perfume and approximately five dollars in change was stolen.  Officer Matthew Haver was the reporting officer.

On August 27 at 9:54 am officers responded to a report of found property on the first block of Denison St.  A bicycle was found.  Officer Brian Weiser was the reporting officer.

On August 27 at 10:31 am officers responded to a report of a theft on the first block of Fairway Dr.  A check was stolen from the mail.  Officer Scott McKnight was the reporting officer.

On August 27 at 7:56 pm officers responded to a report of a lost wallet on the 1500 block of Coshocton Ave. Credit cards and a driver’s license were in the wallet.  Officer Nicholas Holdren was the reporting officer.

On August 27 at 8:43 pm officers responded to a report of a syringe found on the 200 block of Howard St.  The syringe was lying in the grass off the side of the road and collected to be destroyed.  Officer Jason Payne was the reporting officer.
