Arrests

On August 23 Ryan Crabtree, 25 of Johnstown, was arrested for possessing marijuana drug paraphernalia on Chestnut St.

On August 23 Robert Smith, 21 of Mt. Vernon was arrested for drug abuse on Chestnut St.

On August 24 Ryan Dewyze, 31 of Mt. Vernon was arrested on an outstanding warrant on the 500 block of E. Ohio Ave.

Citations

On August 19 Charla Johnson, of Mount Vernon, was cited for “Drive onto road/duty to yield” on Delano St. 

Accidents

On August 24 at 3:45 pm there was a crash in a parking lot on the 500 block of S. Main St.  A vehicle was parked close to the entrance of the lot, and a second vehicle backed in, striking the rear driver’s side door. Officer Nicholas Holdren was the reporting officer.

Incidents

On August 24 at 10:18 am officers responded to a report of found property on the 100 block of N. Harrison St.  A green, Huffy mountain bike was found.  The bike was placed in the impound facility.  Officer David McElroy was the reporting officer.

On August 24 at 6:21 pm officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 700 block of N. Sandusky St.  Officer Nicholas Holdren was the reporting officer.

On August 24 at 10:44 pm officers responded to a report of domestic violence on the 200 block of W. Gambier St.  Officer Nicholas Holdren was the reporting officer.
