Gas Drive-Off
DPD responded to a $20.01 gas drive-off at the Lyons Den convenient store at 3 South Market Street on Friday 8/14. The officer contacted the motorist who then took care of the issue.
 
Accidental Damage
DPD responded to a vandalism of a mailbox in the 100 block of East Plum Street on Friday 8/14. It was discovered, upon officer's investigation, that a juvenile had knocked over the mailbox accidently by holding on to it as a brace while getting on a bicycle.
 
Civil in Nature
DPD responded to a civil issue in the 200 block of East Walnut Street over child visitation on Monday 8/17.
DPD responded to a civil issue in the 200 block of East Walnut Street over a Landlord - Tenant dispute on Monday 8/17.
DPD responded to a civil issue in the 400 block of Glenmick Street over child visitation on Monday 8/17.
 
Bad Checks
DPD responded to the Lyons Den convenient store on Wednesday 8/19 to take a report that three different checks from the same customer totaling $312.69 had been returned by the bank marked Account Closed.
 
Citizen Assist
DPD responded to the East Main Street area on Wednesday 8/19 on an adult female having emotional issues and was possibly wanting to do harm to herself. Officer was able to calm the female down and got her to agree in allowing the officer to take her to Knox Community Hospital for help.
