Knox County Sheriff’s Office Reports and Incidents 8/09-8/12

Incidents

On August 9, officers responded to a report of criminal trespassing on the first block of Appleseed Ct. in Howard.  The complainant reported that someone came onto his property and looked into his vehicle with a flashlight.  The following day, the complainant found a cell phone laying in his yard. Officer Kenneth Aurand was the reporting officer.

On August 12, officers responded to an incident of vandalism on the 8400 block of Dunham Rd in Centerburg.  The victim showed the officers where a vehicle appeared to have veered off the road travelling southbound on Dunham Rd.  The victim’s mailbox and trash can were damaged.  A street sign and the neighbor’s mailbox were also destroyed.  Officer Jason Wilson was the reporting officer.

On August 12 at 8:12 am officers responded to an incident of shoplifting on the 600 block of Sandusky St. in Mount Vernon.  The complainant reported that a man and woman had entered the store and took clothing items without paying.  Officer Jason Wilson was the reporting officer.
