A complainant in the 0-100 block of Columbus Rd., Mount Vernon, reported that a some point over night his front side passenger window was broken out. The complainant said he was also missing his generic black book bag with his school books, and his Garmin GPS worth approximately $200.00.


An unknown person broke out the passenger side window to of a vehicle on Madison Ave., Mount Vernon, and took a victim's purse with the contents from the front seat of the vehicle.


A complainant advised that unknown person(s) got her checking account number and made 2 purchases on her account.


A male came to the Knox County Sheriff's Office and reported his rental property located on Mohaven Rd., Danville, had been broken into. He advised that he was at his rental property on Sunday, May 8, 2016 and left there around 8:00 p.m. He stated when he arrived at his rental property on the 10th around 3:00 p.m. he noticed that several extension cords were missing along with a circular saw. He advised he didn't give anyone permission to take these items or to be on the property. He wanted a report on file and asked for extra patrol in the area.



Cassie M. N. Young, 27, of Danville was arrested on a warrant out of Mount Vernon Municipal Court.
