Knox County Sheriff's Office Reports 5/6 - 5/8

On Friday, May 6, 2016 a deputy was dispatched to a church on Wooster Rd., Danville. on the report of a burglary. The deputy arrived on scene and made contact with the complainant. The complainant advised that another person had called him and advised that someone had broken the side basement window of the church. The complainant stated that he walked through church and the only thing missing was a sound mixing board that was upstairs located in the main part of the church.

It appeared that the suspects entered through the basement window by shattering it and exited through the rear basement door. Photographs were taken of a boot print below the window that was broken and used to gain entry, as well as the church overall.

the complainant stated that he would try and locate a serial number for the stolen mixing board. he stated that the incident occurred sometime from Sunday, May 1, 2016 at around 4:00 PM and Friday, May 6, 2016 at 2:05 PM.

On May 6, 2016 I was dispatched to the 0-100 block of S. Hartford Ave in Centerburg on a theft report. A deputy made contact with the victim/complainant who stated that she did not know who took her two gas jugs. The deputy informed the victim/complainant that I would make a report of the incident for documentation.

On May 7, 2016 deputies were dispatched to said location reference a possible burglary. Nothing was reported missing. Photographs were taken of the scene.

On May 7, 2016, a deputy was advised of a vandalism complaint that could be handled by phone. The deputy made contact with the complainant. He advised that an unknown person had shot his mailbox with a shotgun sometime last night or this morning. He requested a report be filed for documentation purposes.
