Knox County Sheriff's Office Reports 4/4 - 4/5

April 6, 2016 - 12:48 PM

A complainant called the Sheriffs Office to report that her purse had been stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at her vacation home on Lakeview Heights Dr. in Apple Valley. She stated that there was an ID card and some credit cards that she had cancelled.

On April 5, 2016 an officer was dispatched to the 0-100 block of Cleveland Ave., Centerburg, on a theft from vehicle complaint. The deputy made contact with the complainant, who stated someone had entered his vehicle during the night and taken some items. The complainant stated that he had parked his vehicle in front of his residence the night before on April 6, 2016. He came out of his apartment to go to work on the 5th around 6:30am and found his vehicle door open and items tossed all over the car. He advised his door was locked, but if someone pulled hard enough the door would open. He informed me that he was missing a white speaker and a four outlet car charger from the vehicle.

A complainant advised of a vehicle with persons who had warrants. The vehicle was stopped in the area of Siemens on Sandusky St. and everyone was found to have an active arrest warrant. Norman A. Pelton, Paul D. Scott, and Shelly K. Pelton were transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
