Mount Vernon Police Department Reports from 4/4

A woman reported her debit card stolen. The card had been used by an unauthorized individual to make approximately $40.00 in purchases at Kroger.


An officer responded to a complaint of a trespasser at a business on Howard St. Upon arrival, the officer met with the complainant, who advised that a juvenile was inside a fenced-in area of the business property. The juvenile was located and detained. The juvenile was transported to their residence and released to their parents.


A resident in the 1100 block of Coshocton Ave. reported that $300.000 was stolen from the residence at some time between 3/17 and 4/4.


The owner of a local car sales business reported a green 2001 Toyota Camry, which had been taken out for a test drive, stolen. The Camry had dealer plate "6219". Attempts to reach the individual who had taken the car were not successful.



Arrests/Citations

Tiffany Fulton, 33, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on a probation violation.


Steven Deem, 39, of Mount Vernon, was arrested for disorderly conduct with persisting.


Quinton Blair, 40, of Mount Vernon, was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.


Amy Oden, 35, of Newark, was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.


Dawn Williams, 25, of Mount Vernon was cited for speeding (40/25).


Kathleen Stover, 46, of Mount Vernon, was arrested on a probation violation and posessing drug abuse instruments.
