Knox County Sheriff's Office Reports from 5/3

May 3, 2016 - 10:30 AM

A victim reported that someone had removed a nail magnet at a location in the 8000 block of Kinney Rd.

Adam P. Taylor appeared in the front lobby of the Sheriff's Office. He had an active warrant for his arrest. Taylor had come to the station to turn himself in. A deputy made contact with the jail to have someone step out to assist him. Another deputy came out to assist. The deputy checked with dispatch to make sure the warrant was still active, and they confirmed. Taylor was issued his copy of the warrant, taken into custody, and was taken to the jail.

Two deputies observed John Serio Jr., 38, of Fredericktown, talking to a victim in the parking lot of the Shell Gas station on N. Sandusky St. The victim was found to still have an active protection order against Serio. Serio was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.
